The Kensington is an intentionally very oversized denim jacket from HIDDEN, one of our favorite denim brands. With its relaxed drop shoulder, longer length, substantial denim, oversized utility pockets and classic button front, it has that borrowed-from-the-boys shape while still feeling polished enough to layer over the more feminine pieces in your wardrobe.

This is the kind of piece we mean when we talk about building a wardrobe rather than simply buying outfits. Denim has no season, and a great denim jacket gives you another layer to completely change pieces you already own.

Wear the Kensington open over a satin or lace dress to bring something dressy back down to earth. Pair it with a midi skirt and mules for that beautiful contrast of feminine and structured. Style it over trousers with a fitted knit underneath for a more tailored look, or keep it completely casual with leggings, a tee and sneakers. In warmer months, wear it over shorts or a sundress; when temperatures drop, its oversized silhouette leaves plenty of room for sweaters and heavier layers.

The longer length is especially good with shorter hemlines, fitted bottoms and dresses because it creates proportion without feeling like a traditional cropped denim jacket. The western-inspired yoke seaming and oversized flap pockets add character, while the medium vintage wash keeps it classic enough to work year after year.
